About Aberdeen
Aberdeen is situated on the North-East coast of Scotland and stands on a bay of the North Sea between the mouths of the River Dee and the River Don.
Often called the Granite City and famous as the Oil Capital of Europe thanks to a plentiful supply of oil and Natural Gas in the North Sea, Aberdeen is the home to around 200,000 people and covers an area of 186 square kilometres, making it Scotland's third largest city.

July is the warmest month in Aberdeen with average temperatures between 16-20 degrees Celsius. There is also a fair chance of rain in the summer months with around 64mm average rainfall between June and August.

Aberdeen can be reached by bus, train or plane from all parts of the UK.
Direct flights to Aberdeen are from Paris, Amsterdam, Stavanger, Dublin, Manchester and London make air arrival easy. Direct flights can also be made to Glasgow and Edinburgh followed by a 3-4hour train journey. Trains are available for all parts of the UK to Aberdeen.
